Introduction to Siba Park Office

Mita 4-chome, where the former office was located, is known as the "Tsuki no Misaki", and the sea spreads before your eyes until the Edo period .

Shiba Park, which was relocated this time, was also a cape with an expanse of sea from ancient times, with shell mounds from the Jomon period still remaining .
Its position is just opposite the Cape of the Moon.

At the tip of the cape, overlooking the sea at that time, is the Shiba Maruyama Tumulus, which was a keyhole-shaped burial mound. It is not hard to imagine that the view from the sea was spectacular .
It probably belonged to a family that controlled the waters of Tokyo Bay, indicating its power.
After all, from time immemorial, it has been a special place of life and ceremony.
Like Tsuki no Misaki, it is one of the best power spots in Tokyo where you can feel the special veins of the earth .

That's why Zojoji Temple was built and Tokyo Tower was built.
And the 32 Shibakoen Building , which was relocated this time , is also built on the cape.

"Shibakoen 32 Mori Building " was built in May 1977 by Takenaka Corporation .
One of Mori Building's early number buildings , the current building name "32 Shibakoen Building " is a remnant of that.
A stately vintage office overlooking Tokyo Tower and Shiba Park.

eco-friendly rubber wood

The wood used for furniture is rubber wood (rubber laminated lumber).
It is one of the cheapest laminated lumber, and is rarely used in places where design is required due to the preconceived notion that it is cheap.
However, laminated wood in the same price range is mostly softwood, which is lightweight and soft, while rubber is hardwood and has hardness and strength that can be used as a counter. It is hard to scratch, easy to process, and the wood grain is not peculiar, so it can be painted beautifully. This time, it is lightly dyed to harmonize with the interior, and the expression is calm.

Rubber trees are planted to extract natural rubber in South America and Southeast Asia. However, if it is not replanted after 25-30 years, the sap will lose momentum. The wood is easily rotten, easily attacked by insects, and has a large degree of warpage.
It was actually a Japanese company (Nikka Japan Co., Ltd.) that solved the problem.
Rubberwood was born from the idea of "mottainai" by clearing the challenges one by one.

Rubber is a fast-growing tree that lives in hot regions. By fixing carbon as laminated wood, it is an "environmentally friendly wood" that helps reduce CO2.

SYRINX is a leather brand, but leather is a by-product of slaughtered cows.
Waste rubber trees are also a by-product of natural rubber.

I thought that rubberwood, which has the same background as leather, was the only suitable wood for the new office where SRYINX also lives.
