Architecture Photography Course 01 Basic Knowledge
"Photographic Equipment"
Recently, I can shoot very beautifully even with a smartphone.
It can also take panoramic photos, and even has HDR shooting, a function that automatically combines photos with different exposures to prevent underexposure and overexposure.
However, a camera with a somewhat large lens is still desirable for taking photographs of architecture. The reason is
・ In low light conditions, such as indoors and evening scenes in buildings, a camera with a small lens may produce poor image quality.
・ The angle of view is narrow
・ If you can shoot in RAW format, you will have more options for editing later.
What makes the iPhone so useful is
・ Model level eye level photography
・ Walk-through video shooting of model photos
Since the camera is in the corner and can take close-ups, it is useful for model photography.
"Basic terms"
Terms that require a minimum understanding. (If you want to know more, please check yourself.)
Exposure: Depends on the amount of input light, shutter speed and aperture.
-Shutter speed: The time to open the shutter.
Aperture: Adjust the camera hole and light transmission, and correlate with depth of field.
-Depth of field: The range in which the subject can be perceived as being in focus.
・ ISO: shooting sensitivity. The higher the sensitivity, the faster the shutter speed can be, but the more noise tends to appear.
-White balance: Color correction for shooting under various light sources. Correction to make white things white regardless of the light source.
