In this building, the first floor is the owner's residence and the second floor is a two-story wooden building for rent.
By varying the floor height of the second-floor rental house, a space with various ceiling heights was created in the owner's house on the first floor.
The rhythm is given to life by connecting spaces of different scales by simple form manipulation.
In addition, the roof of the second-floor rental house is stepped, and the steps are utilized to provide ventilation and lighting to all the dwelling units like a corner room.
In addition, a floor storage system with soil heat storage using midnight electricity was used under the entire floor of the first floor. In winter, the environment is comfortable no matter where you are on the first floor.
