| CONCEPT

A prototype that can become the new standard for studio apartments.
The space around the water was inserted between the dwelling units to create a bright and highly habitable space where light can be taken from both the outside corridor and the balcony. Light from the outside corridor is taken in through randomly assembled glass blocks, ensuring indoor privacy.
With a rational plan without a corridor, even a minimum 25m2 residence under the One-Room Ordinance has approximately 11 tatami rooms.
The balconies have no beams, creating a sense of openness that allows them to look up at the sky from a high sash up to the ceiling.
The core around the water between the balconies has a solid appearance that is different from ordinary condominiums.
